Dragonfly was found by a Good Samaritan after being hit by a car and brought to Bradshaw Animal Shelter. Despite a broken leg and no control of her back legs, she remained full of life. TEAM provided her with a wheelchair, and she quickly became a shelter favorite. Seeing potential for recovery, the shelter's vet team requested funding for her physical therapy, which TEAM provided with donor support.

Zuko was found wandering the streets by an animal control officer and brought to Bradshaw Animal Shelter. Unclaimed and limping, he needed a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) to restore pain-free mobility. TEAM funded his surgery, and he recovered in a loving foster home before being adopted.

Clover was found as a stray with a severely injured front leg, cherry eye, and an ulcerated eye. Bradshaw's veterinary team performed her leg amputation and cherry eye surgery. TEAM funded her ophthalmologist visit, but her ulcerated eye couldn't be saved and was removed. Fostered by Kristi and Travis, they quickly bonded and adopted her after recovery. Clover now enjoys lounging with her fur siblings, sunbathing, and watching the family's pigs—also adopted from Bradshaw Animal Shelter.

At just 4 months old, Finn was found by an animal control officer after being hit by a car. He had life-threatening injuries, including lung contusions, lacerations, and fractures. Despite the pain, shelter staff comforted him, and he gradually stabilized. Finn slowly gained strength and was fostered by Sacramento Shelter Pets Alive (SSPA). TEAM funded his corrective surgery, and after 6 months of recovery, Finn was adopted by his foster mom, Brooke. Now, he helps socialize foster puppies she brings home.

Boscoe, a sweet senior pup, arrived at Bradshaw Animal Shelter as a stray. Despite his age, he had lots of energy and loved to play and go for walks. To help him find the perfect home, TEAM was contacted to fund his training to overcome leash reactivity. Thanks to several weeks of continuous training, Boscoe was able to learn great manners, leash skills, ultimately setting him up for long term success!

Bubby (formerly Phoenix) suffered severe burns on over 40% of his body due to animal cruelty. Thanks to our community donors, a successful fundraiser fully funded his specialized surgery, pain management, and critical recovery care. The medical teams at Bradshaw Animal Shelter and UC Davis Veterinary Hospital played a crucial role in his recovery. Despite his trauma, Bubby remained loving and kind, requiring ongoing specialized care. He was deeply loved and lived happily in his new home until his recent passing. 

Meeka, a 12-month-old silky Terrier/Shih Tzu mix, was brought to Bradshaw Animal Shelter by a Good Samaritan. TEAM funded her surgery, and she recovered in a loving foster home before being adopted by her foster mom.

Riley and his littermate Izzy arrived at Bradshaw Animal Shelter with suspected feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Thanks to a new treatment with an 85% cure rate, there is hope. The treatment is lengthy and expensive, requiring 84 days of daily injections or pills, followed by 84 days of observation. Bradshaw's rescue team reached out to FieldHaven, who took Riley and Izzy into their programs with TEAM's funding. TEAM is grateful for rescue partners like FieldHaven that help us give these shelter animals a second chance!

Kato (formerly Jamie) arrived at the shelter with a painful leg fracture.  His tibia and fibula were broken with moderate displacement, and he needed surgery to walk again. Thanks to donations from supporters like you, TEAM Bradshaw funded his medical care—and now he's made a full recovery and is thriving in a loving home!
